“When someone else’s happiness is your happiness, that is love” – Lana Del Rey

Adam and Ami are a beautiful set of souls and the opportunity to work with them will be something that I cherish for a very long time to come.

The short and sweet day began with a ceremony at the famous Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR and capped off at the gorgeous Kings River Deck House just down the road. As a photographer and architectural designer (fresh out of the Fay Jones School of Architecture), the combination of venue and weather made for a dreamy set of photographs and one of my most amazing opportunities yet. I’ve got a handful of weddings under my belt and I’m going to go ahead and be bold enough to say that this one may be my favorite (I know, I know…).

What I love most about this couple is how calm and relaxed they are in eachother’s love. Even in the chaos of a rainy wedding day, screaming (adorable) children, and a 45 minute detour on the way to the reception, they still kept their composure and excitement. It’s like the simplicity of the day with the character of the bride and groom along with the serene ceremony and reception vistas on a quiet, rainy Saturday flowed seamlessly to make for the most perfect wedding.

I always find it difficult to piece together the right sentiment when describing the love between a bride and a groom because it’s hard to do justice to the feeling you can only observe from afar…and that is why I take photographs:  to help you see and feel for yourself what I try to explain in words.

More than anything, I wish Adam and Ami a lifetime of happiness together. They had the most beautiful celebration followed by my dream honeymoon to one of my favorite places:  Rome. Congratulations to the happy couple!
