“If I had a single flower for every time I think of you, I could walk forever in my garden.” – Claudia Adrienne Grandi

I’ve noticed a refreshing shift in the Wild Wonderful World of Weddings which is that couples are taking a little step back and opting for a more intimate and personal ‘Big Day’, where it’s not all about the spectacle of things but rather the relationship with each other and with the guests. This is exactly the sentiment Nathan and Kylee aimed for in their celebration and while there were so many aspects of their wedding day that I loved, my favorite would have to be the fact that everything about the day was a family affair.  From the caterer to the wedding planner to the florist to the minister, everything was kept in the family. Nathan is after all one of 10 children so there were quite a few helping hands.

The venue was the Riverwind Lodge that overlooked the most beautiful valley in Compton, AR just a short drive from the Buffalo River.  The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and everyone was all smiles and excitement for the union of Nathan and Kylee.

You couldn’t help but just sit back and watch the happy couple interact with each other throughout the day because their love just seemed so effortless and easy. It was obvious that they were best friends and you couldn’t help but be completely invested and totally convinced.

Thank you to Nathan and Kylee! Here is to many years of happiness and adventure. Congratulations you two.

[Thank you to Jes Bender of Summersett Photography for helping my capture this day. You’re amazing!]
