"To Love is never just to love since it is also to will to love, and...to love in spite of oneself, to allow oneself to be overcome by one's love." - Jean-Paul Sartre
Tanner + Whitney
It takes a very special couple to encourage almost 400 people to leave the comfort of a warm home and brave 40 degree weather and 20mph winds at an outdoor wedding in February. Tanner and Whitney are nothing short of a said 'very special' couple.
I had the awesome opportunity to walk with Tanner and Whitney through their adventure to marriage, from the proposal to the engagements to the bridals and, finally, to their Big Day which was the perfect representation of just how many people love and support them; just how many lives they have touched both independently and as a couple.
From the wedding venue itself to the small table details, everything about this day flowed seamlessly. I was in love with the theme of the wedding: vintage, romantic, rustic. It was all so perfect. A couple of heaters, hundreds of Hot Hands, coffee from Zeteo, and impressive dance moves was what kept the guests warm through the ceremony and into the reception.
I am so excited to watch Tanner and Whitney grow together as a married couple. Apart they are influential but together there is no telling the differences they will make. The undeniable and intense love they have for one another is such an encouraging thing to see in today's world. I and so many others are impossibly happy for The Smiths and wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.
