"Love is something eternal; the aspect may change, but not the essence." - Vincent Van Gogh
One of my best friends got married to the love of her life this past weekend and my heart is so full. If you've followed along with me and my photography for a few years now then you would have seen Caitlyn's portrait time and time again. The thing is, she's kind of absolutely beautiful and so much fun to photograph that I can't help but plaster her face all over the website/social media.
A couple of weekends ago, Caitlyn and her mom came up to Bentonville to stay with me and while they were here we nabbed some bridal and boudoir photos. After hiking to the end of the Lake Atalanta trail on an abnormally hot fall Saturday, we finally made it to the Walnut Grove only to find that it was crispier than fried chicken with little to no color. We rolled with it anyway and the results are pretty fantastic! Next, the three of us took a "mini-hike" up the side of a hill to capture some images in a spot that was a little more colorful. Caitlyn, this entire time, was in her beautiful Lazaro Wedding Gown and Nike Sneaks. Such a trooper!
About one hour and a bucket of sweat later, we wrapped up the bridal shoot and went for some beer and cheesy bread. It was a weekend to remember leading up to THE weekend to remember. So beyond excited for Mr. and Mrs. Branam.
