This past weekend was the Wilson Family Reunion in the tiny town of Sulphur Springs, AR. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and everyone was in good spirits. It's always such a fun time watching the family reminisce on 'the good ole days', reconvening over a yummy lunch and a hilarious round of door prizes. I was having such a good time that day chatting with the family and exploring the property that I slacked a bit on the picture-taking however, some of the moments I did capture can be seen here:
Cecil Wilson (my great grandfather) had the most family members in attendance at the reunion so we won the family photo! Represent! My Granna holds the photo on the right.
Biggest regret of the day was forgetting to check out the dessert table. Wah wah
There were presentation boards and boxes of so many family photos old and new. I could've spent hours sitting with my Granna and her cousins listening to the stories they told of the people in the pictures.
Aunt Marilyn winning the first door prize of the day.
I brought Oakland with me to the reunion. He had a blast playing 'country dog' for the day.
Aunt Joyce has her dollars ready for the door prizes!
And this is how you win 5 door prizes in a row!
Her shirt says 'Y'all Need Jesus'...I mean c'mon, how cute is that?!
Sydney and I crawled onto the roof of the bed and breakfast to snap some group shots.
The Cousins! My heart was happiest that day because all of us were together again :)
The Harbor House of Sulphur Springs served as our meeting place for the second year in a row. This is the coolest little bed and breakfast.
Thank you for taking a look! While I love sharing my client sessions, it's nice to have a little personal post from time to time. Excited to see what life will look like at next year's reunion...
